Urbanity, LLC was created in 2017 by Alison Roh Park to provide a vehicle for her unique approach to traditional best practices in strategic communications, training and facilitation, and leadership development.
Alison first began using strategic communications in 2003 to improve the lives of survivors of violence through education and advocacy. Since then, she has provided communications strategy, technical assistance and counsel on countless state legislative efforts, high profile international human rights litigation and municipal political reforms. She trained hundreds of communications leaders in the impact sector as part of a nationwide training and narrative-building initiative she helped to establish, and taught media and ethnic studies at Hunter College CUNY from 2013 to 2023.
